Celebrating Youth Philanthropy and Community Impact

Katie Cares was honoured to receive a grant of $250 from the Northlands Parkway Collegiate Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) program.

These funds will be used to purchase new pillowcases for Katie's Cottage. Recently, the cottage upgraded its pillows to larger sizes that better fit our beds and provide greater comfort, helping our guests enjoy a better night's sleep during what is often a difficult and stressful time.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the students of Northlands Parkway Collegiate YIP, who worked extremely hard throughout the year to raise funds and support four deserving organizations. Your dedication, generosity, and commitment to making a difference in your community are truly inspiring.

Thank you as well to the teachers, mentors, and everyone who supported YIP and their fundraising efforts. Your support helps Katie's Cottage continue providing a welcoming, comfortable home away from home for families whose loved ones are receiving medical care.
