Ruth Reimer
Ruth, CEO of Katie’s Cottage & Katie Cares, is passionate about creating meaningful connections. “I love the cottage because each day we make a difference for those on a medical journey,” she says.
Her favorite part of the role is meeting new people and supporting guests during stressful times. Outside of work, Ruth enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her grandchildren.
Ruth’s dedication helps make Katie’s Cottage a warm, welcoming place for all our guests.

Darlene
Darlene has been a valued part of Katie’s Cottage since August 2022. She keeps the kitchen running smoothly, preparing comforting breakfasts and filling the Cottage with the aroma of fresh muffins, cookies, and homemade bread—some even featured in our monthly newsletter.
Her favorite part of the job is connecting with guests over breakfast, creating meaningful moments that help everyone feel welcomed, cared for, and at home.

Dianne loves connecting with every guest at Katie’s Cottage, helping create a space where they can relax and feel at home. She registers guests, preps the cottage for the next day, and even sorts new Beanie Babies.
“I love being part of something so meaningful—it doesn’t feel like a job,” she says. Outside of work, Dianne enjoys baking, cooking, games, and time with her husband and grandchildren.

Toni has been part of Katie’s Cottage since August 2025. She loves connecting with guests and longtime supporters, and enjoys being on the Fashion Show Committee—now in her fourth year. During the day, Toni can be found managing social media, updating the website, assisting with guest registration, or spending time chatting with visitors. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her kids at their sports activities.
Anna
Anna is our Head Housekeeper and loves interacting with guests. Her favorite daily task is working in the laundry, and she enjoys the teamwork at the cottage: “We all work together.”
She loves Katie’s Cottage because “the people are amazing, and it’s my home away from home.” Outside of work, Anna enjoys relaxing and spending time with friends.
