Katie’s Cottage Receives Donation from Morden Community Thrift Shop

Charlene Friesen (Katie Cares board member) and Ruth Reimer were honoured to accept a generous cheque of $6,000.00 from Val Noel, a dedicated volunteer with the Morden Community Thrift Shop.

Thanks to this donation, Katie’s Cottage is excited to announce the completion of a new project — a beautifully renovated lounge for our guests. One of our guest suites has been transformed into a warm, inviting space featuring two comfortable chairs, a loveseat, and a 46-inch TV. This new lounge offers a peaceful setting where guests can relax, connect, or simply unwind outside of their private rooms.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Morden Community Thrift Shop for their ongoing support and generosity. Your donation has made this meaningful renovation possible, helping us continue to provide comfort and care to families during difficult times.
