Youth in Philanthropy program (YIP)

On June 3, 2025, Katie Cares received a heartfelt donation from the Winkler Elementary School (WES) Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) program. The charity received $634.20, the money will be used to purchase beanie babies.
The students raised funds through two school-based fundraisers and chose to support two organizations: Pembina Valley and Katie Cares.

This donation holds special meaning, as Kaitlyn Reimer—founder of Katie Cares—was a former student at WES and participated in the YIP program herself.
