Thanks to Pembina Valley United Way: A Transformed Laundry Space

Katie’s Cottage has been under renovations over the past few weeks, including a significant transformation of the laundry room. After 10 years of use, the original shelves were removed as they needed repair or replacement.

Katie Cares was grateful to receive a $4,000 grant from Pembina Valley United Way. The funding was used to purchase new floor-to-ceiling cabinets, providing additional shelving, improved organization, and enclosed storage for a cleaner and more welcoming appearance.

This new look has made a tremendous improvement to the space and will greatly benefit the staff and daily operations at Katie’s Cottage. Thank you to Pembina Valley United Way for supporting this important project.
