Celebrating Generosity and Community Impact

June 2 marked a very special day for the Morden Thrift Store as they celebrated the opening of their second location and distributed an incredible $128,000 to 26 community organizations.

It was inspiring to be part of the grant presentation and to witness firsthand how the funds raised through the thrift store continue to strengthen our communities and support important local initiatives. The impact of this generosity will be felt by many organizations and the people they serve.

Katie Cares was honoured to receive a grant of $1,500. These funds will be used to purchase new blankets for Katie's Cottage. After 10 years of serving guests from across Manitoba and beyond, it is important that we continue to maintain the high standards of comfort, quality, and care that our guests have come to expect.
